I work as a freelance writer, working on a mix of stories about LGBTQ culture and history, travel, literature and book culture, and personal essay, as well as assisting when companies need someone who knows how to construct a sentence well. I work on a mix of solicited and pitched stories and always keep an eye out for new stories to dig into.

Working with both writers and editors, I provide my own cultural expertise in order to improve the authenticity of various works. I have worked with prose and graphic novels. I most often read for transgender and gay representation, although I also read for Catholic, southern, and depression related content.

I have experience working within a number of different contexts, meaning I can help you understand the norms of whatever project you are working on.
